“Tuol Sleng Prison” The Sleng was a prison used as the Security Prison 21 (S-21) by the Khmer Rouge regime. The about 17,000 prisoners, includingchildren at the prison were systematically tortured. Only 12 prisoners survived. The prison was run by Comrade Duch, who was tried in a United Nations tribunal in Cambodia starting in February 2009.
